Today, Apple announced the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro. Both of these devices are slightly revised versions of last years flagships. The iPhone 11 is a slightly upgraded iPhone XR while the iPhone 11 Pro is a slightly upgraded iPhone XS. Both new models have more lenses than last years counterparts and faster internals. Notably, the glass being used on this years iPhone 11 is stronger than last years and should withstand more damage than last years. Below is a video overview of Apple’s announcements from the September Keynote along with some thoughts on this years iPhone 11.
Overall, the iPhone 11 is not worth upgrading to if you have an iPhone X, XS, or XR as next years model will be the one that comes with big changes. There’s also just nothing wildly different about the iPhone 11 when compared to even an iPhone X from a couple of years ago.
