Xbox Announces a Second Generation Elite Wireless Controller Coming in October

During Microsoft’s E3 Xbox Event, there was an official unveiling of the new Elite Wireless Controller Series 2. The new controller keeps it familiar design but adds and changes quite few things that gamers have wanted. The Elite Controller will now feature: adjustable-tension thumbsticks, shorter hair trigger locks, wrap-around rubberized grip, and re-engineered components. We won’t know for sure what “re-engineered components” actually means until we get our hands on it and try it out. I am hoping it means the controller will last longer because I have personally had issues with three elite controllers regarding thumbstick drifting and build quality issues.
