3 Months with a Robot Vacuum! ECOVACS T90 PRO OMNI Review

It’s been about 3 months since I started using the ECOVACS DEEBOT T90 PRO OMNI in my house, and the honeymoon phase is definitely over. That first week with any robot vacuum is always exciting, but month three is where you actually find out if it’s good — after real-life cat hair, dog hair, litter, kitchen messes, random crumbs, and water around the dog bowl. At this point it’s cleaned over 26,000 square feet in my house, so this isn’t a first impressions video anymore; it’s about how I’m still using it 3 months later. (ECOVACS sponsored this one and sent over the T90 PRO, but this is my real take after actually living with it.)

My house is mostly hard floors, so mopping was the real long-term test, and a lot of robot mops just drag wet pads around and spread dirty water from room to room. The OZMO Roller 3.0 is a full microfiber roller that scrubs while washing itself with fresh water as it moves, and 3 months later it still leaves the floors sparkly clean — coffee drips by the machine, pasta sauce splatter, that weird water halo around the dog bowl — and the roller still looks brand new and doesn’t smell. The OMNI Station empties into a dust bag, washes the roller with hot water, and dries it with hot air; I mop two or three times a week, so refilling the clean tank and emptying the dirty one happens at a rate I’m okay with, the app reminds me, and the dust bag lasted a little over 2 months. Replacement parts are easy to find online, too. TruEdge 3.0 extends the roller past the body to get that dust line along the baseboards — not perfect in every corner, but a step in the right direction. Navigation has held up: the early map still works with no remapping, obstacle avoidance handles cables, dog toys, chair legs, and even my cat, PowerBoost charging tops it up for about 10 minutes during mop washes, and the ZeroTangle brush means I haven’t had to cut hair off a roller once. I run it on a schedule around my cat’s litter box and just say “Hi Eco, clean the kitchen” for quick messes. The honest cons: the station is a big tower that needs a proper spot and a plug, the dirty water compartment gets pretty nasty and needs cleaning, it occasionally leaves some crumbs behind, the station isn’t silent while it’s drying, and it doesn’t love my thicker carpets — it sometimes gets stuck on my green rug, so I mapped around them.

Watch the full 3-month ECOVACS DEEBOT T90 PRO OMNI review for the mopping results, station maintenance, edge cleaning, obstacle avoidance, and every honest con. Final thoughts: this is the first robot mop I’ve used that actually feels like a proper robot mop, I rarely have to rescue it, and I haven’t had to vacuum anywhere near as much — if your home is mostly hard floors with kids, pets, or sticky kitchen messes, it’s going to work really well, and around Prime Day the price can dip under 600 bucks.
