The Robot Vacuum That Actually Reaches Corners! MOVA V70 Ultra Complete Review

Robot vacuums used to get stuck on rugs, bump into every chair leg, and smear dirt around instead of cleaning it, but now they have smarter sensors that avoid cables and dog toys and batteries that can handle a whole house in one run. That’s where the brand new MOVA V70 Ultra Complete comes in: MOVA is calling it a flagship killer because it packs specs that usually live in $1,500-plus robots, including 42,000Pa of suction, a mop that extends 6.7 inches past the body, a climbing system that clears 3.5-inch thresholds, and a bagless dock you don’t have to think about for 100 days. I lived with it for a few weeks with a cat, a dog, litter, kitchen messes, and thick carpets in a couple of rooms. (MOVA sponsored this video and sent one over.)

The headline 42,000Pa is well above the typical 10,000 to 20,000Pa range, and in my mixed-floor setup it picked up everything in one pass, from fine dust and pet hair to cereal scattered on the kitchen floor, while the mop spins at up to 300 RPM with 15 newtons of downward pressure to scrub dried stains instead of just wiping over them. The feature that got me curious is MaxiReachX: the mop head extends up to 6.7 inches past the body and the side brush extends about 4.7 inches, so it hugs baseboards, gets into corners other robots skip, and reaches under floating sofas, cabinets, and beds. The retractable legs lift it over obstacles up to 3.5 inches, so room thresholds, sliding door tracks, and balcony transitions aren’t a problem, and FlexiScope Auto-Lift drops the sensor tower under low furniture and raises it in open space for full 360° mapping. With RGB AI vision recognizing over 300 household objects, it routes around dog toys, cables, and shoes and flags them in the app. The zero hair tangling system covers the main brush, side brush, and omni wheel, so I’m not flipping it over to cut hair off the rollers, which is huge in a pet house. The dock washes the roller with 212°F water, dries it in about an hour so there’s no swampy mop smell, and uses a 2-liter washable bagless EcoCyclone tank that lasts up to 100 days between emptyings; MOVA estimates that saves about $84 a year in dust bags, or up to $175 for pet households like mine. Things to know: the dock is a full tower that needs real space, you’ll still refill clean water and dump dirty water roughly weekly depending on how much you mop (the app tells you when), and the wash and dry cycle isn’t silent, so schedule it outside sleep or meeting hours. Watch the full MOVA V70 Ultra Complete review to see the MaxiReachX reach, threshold climbing, and dock in action. Final thoughts: it’s doing things at this price that usually only show up in flagship machines around $1,500, and if your home is mostly hard floors with some carpet, plus pets, kids, and real kitchen messes, it’s genuinely worth a look; the launch offer gave US buyers $200 off from August 19th through September 1st, MOVA backs it with a 3-year warranty, and the links are in the video description.
