I Didn’t Believe a Floor Cleaner Could Do This… | Dreame Aero Ultra Steam Review
If you’ve ever tried cleaning your floors properly, you know it takes about three tools: a vacuum for hair and crumbs, a wet-dry vac for spills and sticky messes, and a steam mop if you actually want to sanitize. Nobody’s doing all three every day, and that’s where the new Dreame Aero Ultra Steam comes in, combining 392°F steam cleaning, 194°F hot water mopping, and a new foam wash mode in one ultra-slim body. With a cat, a dog, litter, sticky kitchen life, and hard floors, I put it through everything in my house. (Dreame sponsored this video and sent one over.)
The steam carries the whole product: 392°F is the temperature inside the heating system, not on your floor, so it’s safe on properly sealed hard floors while still breaking down grease and sanitizing without a single chemical, which matters with kids and pets around. It’s genuinely continuous, and dried-on coffee drops and sauce splatter in my kitchen softened and disappeared in a pass. Foam wash is the mode I think is really special: one press on the handle dispenses pre-mixed foam onto pet urine, vomit, or stains, you let it sit a few seconds to neutralize the mess and odor, then mop over it once. Day to day, the 194°F hot water plus 30kPa of suction loosens dirt and pulls the dirty water back up in the same pass, so you’re not closing off a wet room for 20 minutes. It reclines nearly flat to about 10 cm to slide under couches and beds, the front LED strip lights up dust you’d miss, TangleCut 2.0 means no more cutting hair off the roller, and at 72 dB it won’t wake everyone up. The dock sanitizes the roller with steam and hot water and dries it so there’s no swampy mop smell, and you get up to 100 minutes of runtime with a 0.9 L tank. Things to know: the cleaning solution only dispenses in eco and foam wash modes, it’s a stick cleaner you push yourself rather than a set-it-and-forget-it robot, and bigger sessions mean refilling the tank and dumping dirty water.

Final thoughts: it’s the first floor cleaner I’ve used that legitimately replaces a bunch of tools with one machine, and if you have kids, pets, and a busy kitchen, that continuous chemical-free 392°F steam is what sets it apart; the link and discount code are in the video description.
