This is How Wes Anderson Makes His Animated Movies!
Wes Anderson's latest 'Isle of Dogs" is my favorite movie of the year so far. It has it's funny moments but is mostly a serious movie with great voice acting, animation, and direction. The video above showcases some of the extreme detail and work that went into making 'Isle of Dogs'. I highly recommend seeing the movie even if it the trailers don't appeal to you much!
Director Wes Anderson is known for his stop-motion movies, like "Fantastic Mr. Fox". His newest film "Isle of Dogs" is out in theaters now — and it was no easy task to bring over 1,000 puppets to life. Puppets vastly ranged in sizes — some were the size of a fingernail while others could be climbed into — but above all else, they had to be individually manipulated to animate them for the big screen. /via Insider
