MacBook Neo Blush Pink Unboxing & First Impressions!
Today I’m unboxing Apple’s MacBook Neo in blush pink — Apple’s first completely new laptop line since the MacBook Air in 2008. At $599 ($499 with education), this isn’t a toy: all-aluminum, smaller footprint than an Air at the same 2.7 lb, color-matched keyboard deck, and a trackpad that’s clickable in every corner even without Force Touch. First look: the blush isn’t neon; it’s a subtle rose-gold-leaning pink that still feels premium.
On first boot the screen is shockingly bright with solid viewing angles, rounded display corners look modern, and you’re getting a real macOS machine — A18 Pro (same class as iPhone 16 Pro), 256 GB base (I’d pay $100 more for 512 GB + Touch ID), two USB-C ports (no Thunderbolt), Bluetooth 6 / Wi-Fi 6E, headphone jack, and dual speakers that don’t sound tinny. No backlit keyboard, and I don’t mind — the bright panel lights the deck fine and the clean look is part of the charm. For writing, school, browsing, and even jumping into Final Cut, I’d take this over an iPad unless you need Pencil-first creative work.

Final thoughts: don’t overthink it — if you need a laptop, the Neo is the fun, well-priced Mac to get, and blush pink looks fantastic in person.
