MacBook Neo Indigo Blue Unboxing & First Impressions!
Next up: the MacBook Neo in indigo blue — and after the blush pink unboxing, this cobalt-leaning blue might be my favorite of the bunch. Same story as before: if you’re torn between an iPad and a Neo, I’d take the Neo unless you really need Apple Pencil. It’s a cute, serious little laptop, and the color-matched “hello” tab and paper card in the box are the kind of small details that make $599 feel premium.
Open it up and the indigo keyboard deck pops — more saturated than blush, still clean. Trackpad still feels better than many $1,500 Windows machines; keys have a nice matte finish; no backlight (again, fine). A18 Pro runs macOS so well that app spam and even 4K Final Cut editing are realistic, speakers hold up, the 13-inch panel gets unexpectedly bright, and the 2.7 lb notebook footprint is just easier to live with than a MacBook Air. Base is 256 GB — I’d still spend the extra $100 for 512 GB + Touch ID for passwords, travel downloads, and games.
Watch the full MacBook Neo Indigo Blue Unboxing & First Impressions for the side-by-side with blush, setup walkthrough, and why this color might win. Final thoughts: I don’t need another Mac — I have an M4 Max Pro — and I still want this indigo Neo. That’s how good the vibe (and the value) is.
